Quick Summary
  • The shortlist: Flowtrix, Infidigit, Go Fish Digital, Siege Media, Previsible, ROI Minds, Seer Interactive, Acceleration Partners, Reboot Online, and Position Digital.
  • Why it matters: Clicks on normal Google results drop 61% when an AI Overview shows up, so being named in the answer matters.
  • How to choose: Pick by the job you need done: fix your site, write better answers, get mentioned elsewhere, or track where you stand.
  • What to ask: What do they actually do, what's the proof, what does it cost, and who should skip them.
  • What it costs: Most AEO retainers run from about $1,000 to $12,000 a month, and big brands pay $15,000+.

The top AEO agencies in 2026 are Flowtrix, Infidigit, Go Fish Digital, Siege Media, Previsible, ROI Minds, Seer Interactive, Acceleration Partners, Reboot Online, and Position Digital. The right AEO agency for you depends on why AI tools aren't mentioning you yet: your website, your content, nobody else talking about you, or not knowing where you stand.

Your buyers now ask ChatGPT and Google's AI answers which tool to buy or which agency to hire. If your name isn't in the answer, you're not on their list.

An AEO agency is meant to fix that. The problem is, every agency says it does AEO now. And most "best AEO agency" lists are written by agencies ranking themselves first.

So we asked every agency on this list the same four questions. What do they actually do? What's the proof? What does it cost? Who should skip them?

We checked every website and case study on 19 October 2026. Yes, Flowtrix is our agency and it's listed first. Every number about us comes from our own case studies, and when another agency's numbers are its own claims, we say so.

‍

So, what is AEO?

AEO is short for answer engine optimization. It means getting your brand named when someone asks an AI tool a question.

Google AI Overview answering how to choose a B2B website agency, with key evaluation criteria and source links on the right
This is AEO in action. Google answers the question itself, and only the brands it names or links to get seen.

You'll hear three terms on sales calls. Here's the difference:

  • SEO: Getting your page into Google's normal list of links.
  • AEO: Getting your brand into the answer itself, in Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity or a voice assistant.
  • GEO: Short for generative engine optimization. It means almost the same thing as AEO, and most agencies use the two words for the same work.

AEO doesn't replace SEO. Both need the same basics: a fast site, pages that answer questions clearly, and other trusted websites linking to you. Our guide to SEO vs GEO goes deeper.

Why your Google clicks are drying up

  • 900 million: People using ChatGPT every week, OpenAI said in February 2026.
  • 2 billion: People who see Google's AI Overviews every month, according to Sundar Pichai in July 2025.
  • 61% fewer clicks: That's how much clicks on normal Google results dropped when an AI Overview showed up, between June 2024 and September 2025. It comes from a Seer Interactive study of 3,119 searches across 42 brands.
  • 35% more clicks: Brands named inside the AI Overview got this many more clicks than brands it left out, in the same study.
  • 4.4x: A visitor from AI search is worth this much more than a normal Google visitor, because they're more likely to buy, Semrush found. Semrush also thinks AI search will send more visitors than Google search by early 2028.
61%
Fewer clicks on normal Google results when an AI Overview shows up, from June 2024 to September 2025, per Seer Interactive.

Fewer people are clicking links. More people are reading the AI answer and stopping there. If you're named in that answer, you get the few clicks that are left.

Four things an AEO agency should do for you

Under all the buzzwords, AEO comes down to four jobs. Most agencies are good at one or two of them.

Four jobs of an AEO agency: Fix, Answer, Earn and Track, with what the agency does and when you need each one
Fix, Answer, Earn, Track: the four jobs every AEO agency does some mix of.

Fix: Can AI tools read your site? A lot of AI bots can't read pages that only load with JavaScript. They also get lost on messy pages with no schema (hidden labels that tell machines what a page is about). If this is broken, nothing else matters.

Answer: Is your page the best answer? AI tools quote pages that answer the question early, clearly and with real facts. Long, vague pages get ignored.

Earn: Does anyone else talk about you? ChatGPT doesn't only read your website. It reads reviews, Reddit threads, news stories and other people's "best of" lists. If nobody mentions you, AI tools won't either.

Five places AI tools pull answers from: your website, reviews, Reddit and forums, news and industry sites, and best of lists
AI tools piece together what the whole web says about you, not just your own website.

Track: Do you know where you stand? Google Search Console won't show you AI answers. Someone has to check the questions your buyers ask, every month, in every AI tool, and tell you if you're in them.

When you talk to an agency, ask which of these four jobs it will actually do for you. The comparison table below shows what each agency is strongest at.

Before your first call, type five questions your buyers would ask into ChatGPT and Google. Note who gets named. Then ask each agency to explain why you're not in those answers. A good one will have a clear answer.

‍

1. Flowtrix

Flowtrix homepage with the headline We make your website and brand ready for enterprise buyers, and a 200% increase in search impressions

Based in: Bangalore, India, and Newark, Delaware. Strongest at: Fix and Answer, for B2B websites.

What do they actually do? Flowtrix builds and fixes websites for B2B SaaS, AI and cybersecurity companies, so AI tools can read every page. Then it writes pages that answer buyer questions up front and adds schema. SEO, AEO, design and development sit in one team, so you're not juggling a web agency and an AEO agency. The Flowtrix Schema App adds schema for things like your company, articles, products and page paths, with no code.

What's the proof? 120+ projects delivered. Databahn got 5x more traffic and a 35% conversion rate. Crux got 43% more traffic from Google. Salesken got 45% more traffic and 5x more conversions. akirolabs got 40% more traffic. Amazon Signage runs one site in 8 languages and regions across seven countries, each with its own SEO title and description.

What does it cost? Website builds usually cost $25,000 to $75,000+. SEO and AEO retainers start at $3,000 a month.

Who should skip them? Local businesses and online stores. Also anyone who only wants a report, with no changes to their site or content.

‍

2. Infidigit

Infidigit LLM SEO services page with the headline Boost Visibility on AI Search Platforms and stats on organic sessions, case studies and leads

Based in: Mumbai, India, and New York. Strongest at: Track.

What do they actually do? Infidigit works in eight steps. It checks where you show up in AI tools, maps the questions your buyers ask, then fixes schema, writes content and gets other sites to mention you. Its own tool, Infigrowth, tracks the visits you get from AI tools.

What's the proof? Flipkart Seller Hub got 37x more visits from AI tools and showed up in Google's AI Overviews for 100+ searches. ICICI Prudential got 39x more visits from AI tools and showed up in AI Overviews for 1,093 searches. These are Infidigit's own numbers.

What does it cost? It has four plans, from Lite to Enterprise. You have to ask for a proposal to see prices.

Who should skip them? Small sites. Its smallest plan covers 30 pages, and most of its clients are big consumer and finance brands.

‍

3. Go Fish Digital

Go Fish Digital blog post titled Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Case Study: 3X'ing Leads

Based in: Raleigh, North Carolina, with offices in Boston, DC, Phoenix, San Diego and Jacksonville. Strongest at: Answer.

What do they actually do? Go Fish rewrites and reorganises your pages so AI tools pick them up, and runs it alongside SEO and PR.

What's the proof? It tried its method on its own website first. In about three months, visits from ChatGPT and other AI tools went up 43%, sign-ups from those visits went up 83%, and leads from AI tools turned into customers 25x more often than leads from Google. That's from its own case study.

What does it cost? Prices aren't published.

Who should skip them? Anyone who wants client results first. Its best-known AEO proof is its own website, so ask for client numbers on the call.

‍

4. Siege Media

Siege Media homepage with the headline Full-service GEO. We make brands the answer in search, above client logos like PayPal and Zendesk

Based in: San Diego, California. Strongest at: Answer and Earn.

What do they actually do? Siege Media writes content and runs PR at the same time. You get pages worth quoting, plus links from websites that AI tools trust. Clients include Zoom and Zendesk.

What's the proof? For payroll software company Paylocity, Siege built 26+ comparison pages and turned a payroll report into a PR campaign. Paylocity went from showing up in about 30% of relevant AI answers to 45%. Its traffic was worth $101,000 more a month between December 2025 and June 2026, measured by what the same visits would cost in ads.

What does it cost? Prices aren't published.

Who should skip them? Sites with technical problems. Siege is great at content and links, not at fixing how a site is built.

‍

5. Previsible

Previsible homepage calling itself The AI Discovery Agency with the headline Be discovered, everywhere

Based in: San Francisco, California. Strongest at: Answer.

What do they actually do? Previsible calls itself an "AI discovery agency". It works on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google's AI Overviews, Copilot and even Amazon's shopping assistant, Rufus. Its founders used to lead teams at eBay, Searchmetrics and Semrush, and it works like part of your team, not an outside vendor.

What's the proof? Travel insurance site Squaremouth made 270% more revenue from ChatGPT within six months. Atlassian got 25% more traffic from Google and 16% more leads. Sage got 150% more leads. These are Previsible's own numbers.

What does it cost? Its Clutch profile lists projects from $5,000, at $200 to $300 an hour.

Who should skip them? Teams that want a one-off project. Previsible works best as a long-term partner.

Not sure why AI tools aren't naming your brand?

‍

6. ROI Minds

ROI Minds ecommerce LLM SEO case study for MY IT HUB showing AI mentions and cited pages before and after

Based in: Mohali, India. Strongest at: Answer.

What do they actually do? ROI Minds first checks where you show up in ChatGPT, Google's AI Mode, AI Overviews and Gemini. Then it rewrites product category pages with clear definitions and FAQs, adds buying guides and comparison pages, and fixes schema and the links between your pages.

What's the proof? For Australian IT hardware store MY IT HUB, the number of times AI tools named the brand went from 19 to 250 in 60 days. Visits from Google went up 34.7% over the project. These are ROI Minds' own numbers.

What does it cost? Prices aren't published.

Who should skip them? B2B service and software companies. Its AI proof is from an online store, and that project didn't get the brand into Gemini at all.

‍

7. Seer Interactive

Seer Interactive homepage with the headline The Job of Marketing is to be Seen, Believed, and Chosen

Based in: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, since 2002. Strongest at: Track.

What do they actually do? Seer runs AI search work for big brands and publishes its own research, like the AI Overviews study we quoted above. It also helps marketing teams use AI in their day-to-day work.

What's the proof? It works with 130+ large companies and says 92% of them stayed in 2025. Its AI Overviews study uses real data from 42 client brands, not guesswork.

What does it cost? Prices aren't published.

Who should skip them? Startups and small teams. Seer is set up for big-company budgets and processes.

‍

8. Acceleration Partners

Acceleration Partners case study on how a financial services brand doubled its AI share of voice from 22% to 45% through partnerships

Based in: Offices in Boston, London, Berlin, Singapore and Sydney. Strongest at: Earn.

What do they actually do? Acceleration Partners started in affiliate and influencer marketing. Now it uses its relationships with big media websites to get brands into the articles and reviews AI tools read.

What's the proof? For a finance brand during tax season, it set up articles on CNET, PCMag and ZDNET, plus YouTube videos. AI answers went from naming the brand 22% of the time to 45%, and it became the brand AI tools linked to most for its topics. These are Acceleration Partners' own numbers, and the client isn't named.

What does it cost? Prices aren't published.

Who should skip them? Teams without budget for media deals, since that's a big part of how this works.

‍

9. Reboot Online

Reboot Online homepage with the headline Get found online, logos for Google, Gemini, Copilot and Claude, and its 2025 and 2026 awards

Based in: London. Strongest at: Earn.

What do they actually do? Reboot does SEO, AI search work and PR, and runs public tests on how Google and AI tools behave. It won GEO Campaign of the Year at the PRmoment Awards 2026 and Best Large SEO Agency at the Global Search Awards 2026.

What's the proof? In a 2025 test, Reboot posted content on a few outside websites to see if AI tools would repeat it. ChatGPT did. Gemini and Claude didn't. It shows how much what other sites say shapes what ChatGPT says about you. Clients include Uswitch, Just Eat, TUI and Tripadvisor.

What does it cost? Prices aren't published.

Who should skip them? Teams whose main problem is their own website. Reboot is strongest at what happens on other sites.

‍

10. Position Digital

Position Digital page with the headline Boost Your AI Visibility With an AI Search Optimization Agency

Based in: London. Strongest at: Answer and Earn.

What do they actually do? Position Digital starts by checking your brand and the questions your buyers ask AI tools. Then it updates your content, runs PR to get you mentioned on other sites, and reports on Google's AI answers, ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity.

What's the proof? Data company Decentriq got linked in AI answers 221% more often. Oriel Partners shows up in Google's AI Overviews for 17 searches. These are Position Digital's own numbers.

What does it cost? It asks for a monthly budget of $2,000 or more.

Who should skip them? Anyone who wants detailed AI case studies. Its AI results are short headline numbers, so ask for the full story on a call.

Agency or tool: which one do you need?

Tools like Profound and Peec AI show you where you appear in AI answers. That's it. They don't fix anything.

A tool is enough if you already have an SEO team that can do the work, and you just want the numbers.

Hire an agency if your site needs fixing, nobody has time to write new pages, or no one outside your company talks about you yet. Most good agencies use these tools anyway, so you'll get the numbers too.

‍

What your monthly AEO report should include

Ask for these from the first month:

What a good AEO report shows

  • Mentions: How often AI tools name your brand for your buyers' questions.
  • Citations: How often AI tools link to your website in their answers.
  • Share of voice: How often you get named compared with your competitors.
  • Accuracy: Whether AI tools get your product and pricing right.
  • AI visits: People landing on your site from ChatGPT, Perplexity and other AI tools. You can see this in Google Analytics.
  • Leads and deals: Whether those visits turn into demos and sales.

If all you get is an "AI visibility score" with no link to visits or leads, push back.

‍

How much AEO agencies charge

Most agencies don't share prices. Here's what we found:

  • Small businesses: About $1,000 to $3,500 a month, says 310 Creative's 2026 pricing guide.
  • Growing companies: About $4,000 to $12,000 a month.
  • Big brands: About $15,000 to $50,000+ a month.
  • A one-time AI visibility check: About $1,500 to $5,000.
  • Position Digital: A monthly budget of $2,000 or more.
  • Previsible: Projects from $5,000, at $200 to $300 an hour, per its Clutch profile.
  • Flowtrix: SEO and AEO retainers from $3,000 a month.

310 Creative also says that "full AEO" under $1,500 a month is usually just SEO with a new name.

‍

Promises that should make you walk away

  • "We'll get you into ChatGPT, guaranteed": AI answers change every day. No agency controls them.
  • "You'll see results this week": Most agencies, Previsible included, say first changes take 30 to 60 days, and real sales impact takes 90 to 120.
  • "You don't need SEO anymore": If Google doesn't trust your site, AI tools usually won't either.

‍

Which agency should you call first?

Website is the problem? Start with an agency that fixes sites, like Flowtrix.

Content isn't getting quoted? Talk to Go Fish Digital, Siege Media, Previsible, ROI Minds or Position Digital.

Nobody mentions you outside your own site? Acceleration Partners and Reboot Online are built for that.

No idea where you stand? Infidigit and Seer Interactive are the strongest at tracking.

Whoever you call, ask them the same four questions we asked. Vague answers tell you a lot.

FAQ's

Quick answers to what teams ask before they hire an AEO agency.

What does an AEO agency do?
It gets your brand named in AI answers, like Google's AI Overviews and ChatGPT. That means fixing your site so AI tools can read it, writing pages that answer buyer questions, getting other sites to mention you, and tracking where you show up. Flowtrix does the site and content side for B2B companies.
Is AEO different from SEO?
Yes, but they overlap. SEO gets your page into Google's list of links. AEO gets your brand into the answer itself. Both need a fast site, clear pages and trusted links, which is why Flowtrix runs SEO and AEO in one team.
Can an AEO agency guarantee ChatGPT mentions?
No. AI answers change every day and no agency controls them. A good agency, Flowtrix included, shows you where you stand and what it plans to change, instead of promising you a spot.
How much does an AEO agency cost?
Most AEO retainers run from about $1,000 to $12,000 a month, and big brands pay $15,000 or more. A one-time AI visibility check costs about $1,500 to $5,000. Flowtrix SEO and AEO retainers start at $3,000 a month.
How long does AEO take to work?
Most agencies say first changes show up in 30 to 60 days, and real sales impact takes 90 to 120 days. If your site needs fixing first, Flowtrix starts there, because AI tools can't name you if they can't read your pages.
Do you need an AEO agency or an AEO tool?
A tool like Profound or Peec AI only shows you where you appear. An agency does the fixing. If you don't have a team to change your site and content, an agency like Flowtrix can do that work for you.
