What is Persona?

A Persona is created to give the target audience a human face, name, and set of goals, frustrations, and behaviors. For SaaS companies, multiple personas often represent different decision-makers (e.g., the "Technical Buyer" vs. the "Budget Approver").

Why Personas Matter in User-Centric Design?

Personas prevent designers and marketers from designing for themselves and ensure the entire website is built to solve the real problems of the target customer.

  • Focus: They clearly define who the website needs to serve, leading to highly targeted and effective Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
  • Content Strategy: They dictate what content is needed (e.g., Gated Content) and how the Customer Journey should be mapped.
  • Messaging: They ensure the Copywriting in the Hero Section and key CTAs speaks directly to the user's specific pain points.
