Wireframe

What is Wireframe?

A Wireframe is the schematic blueprint of a page, intentionally stripped of color, images, and visual styling (Color Theory, Typography). It focuses solely on: structure, content hierarchy, and functionality.

Why Wireframes Matter in UX Strategy?

Starting with Wireframes is essential for validating the underlying functionality and Information Architecture before committing to expensive visual design.

  • Friction Identification: They help identify immediate structural flaws and poor User Flow during the UX Audit phase.
  • Content First: They force the team to prioritize content and conversion goals over aesthetics.
  • Cost Efficiency: Making structural changes in a wireframe is much cheaper and faster than making them in a high-fidelity design or coded Webflow prototype.

Example from Flowtrix Projects

Before designing client websites, Flowtrix first creates detailed Wireframes in Figma to validate the Information Architecture and key User Flows. This step ensures the core functional structure is perfectly optimized for User Experience (UX) and conversion efficiency, serving as a solid blueprint for the final High-Fidelity Prototype.
