Animation

What is Animation?

Animation refers to the visual effects and motion applied to website elements. This ranges from subtle Microinteractions (like a button color change on hover) to complex Scroll Animations (like Parallax Scrolling) or full-screen Lottie Animations.

Why Animation Matters in Design?

When used judiciously, animation can significantly improve the user's comprehension and enjoyment of a website, elevating both the UI and UX.

  • Visual Hierarchy: Animation guides the eye to important elements, like a key statistic or a CTA (Call to Action).
  • Feedback: Provides instant feedback to the user's actions (e.g., a small loading animation or a form showing an Error State).
  • Branding: Adds personality and memorability, reinforcing the client's Brand Identity.

Example from Flowtrix Projects

We use native Webflow interactions and custom Lottie Animations to create compelling Motion Design without sacrificing load times. Our approach to animation is purpose-driven: from subtle Hover Effects on buttons to elegant scroll-based transitions in the Hero Section, every movement is designed to improve clarity, not clutter, and support the overall User Flow.
